We may think that disobedience in a small way is really not that big of a deal. Surely God isn’t going to be bothered by something so small, especially if our motives are good. But let me ask you, has there ever been a good reason for any act of disobedience? The Bible has quite a bit to say about disobedience. God’s Word is a guide for our lives, and it reminds us that, when we disobey God, we sadden him. He desires the best for us, and sometimes we take the easy way out and turn away from Him. Are there any “small disobediences” in your life that you’re trying to justify? It could be something you’ve done or perhaps something you’ve refused to do. The only solution for any act of disobedience is to confess and repent.
