The Fruit of the Spirit-Kindness

Fruit of the Spirit-Kindness

The word kindness is mentioned many times in the Bible. As well it should be. It’s a key part in the fruits of the spirit and in our Christian walk. The Greek word for kindness is Christos’s. It means kindness toward others – having a tender concern. This kindness of heart is shown in the way we speak to others and also this kindness is to be shown in our action. When, we are kind, we extend grace and mercy to others. We also show patience, forgiveness, and compassion. It’s not always easy to be kind, but it’s always worth it. Being kind will never lead you astray. When we are kind, we glorify God and reflect His character. If you are looking for an example of kindness just look at the Good Samaritan. Here Jesus gives us a great example to follow. The culture we live in need this kindness now more than ever, so let us be the example to those who need it.
